Similar to the unicorn food trend, edible glitter is being sprinkled on foods everywhere. Dagwoods Pizza in Santa Monica shot into the spotlight when Jimmy Kimmel featured its "Magical AF" glitter pizza on his show. The Bagel Store in Brooklyn sells glitter bagels; Werewolf Coffee Bar in Chicago sells some of the most beautiful glittery lattes; and Viniq, a liquor company, created a Moscato- and vodka-infused liqueur that shimmers. That doesn't mean the glitter you use for your face can be thrown onto your next plate of pasta. The FDA has even released a statement in light of the trend, warning people to only use glitter that is marked edible on the package with a list of clearly stated ingredients.
