Mussels au gratin

Ingredients

  • 3 liters of mussels
  • 4 shallots
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • The equivalent of one tablespoon of butter
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Pour the mussels in a large casserole, add the chopped shallots and white wine, on high heat until they open.

Step 2

Remove the mussels from the pan, reserving the juice made.

Step 3

Shell the mussels and set aside.

Step 4

In a saucepan, over low heat, melt the butter with the flour, add some juice to pan.

Step 5

Stir constantly over time as the flour cooks. Gradually add the remaining juice, and then finally the sour cream. Add the mussels.

Step 6

Pour the mixture and bake under the grill for 20 minutes.
