Vichy carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. carrots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • paprika
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Peel carrots and cut into thick slices. In a pan, put olive oil, a clove of crushed garlic, and paprika and sauté. Then reduce heat and add the carrots and let it soak in olive oil and cover with water.

Step 2

Cook about 20 minutes covered. And add hot water if it is not cooked enough. Place in a bowl, then add a pinch of cinnamon before serving. Season with salt and pepper.
