- 20 pitted dates
- 8 oz of marzipan (almond paste)
- 10 walnuts cut into 2
- Food coloring (green, red)
- Powdered sugar for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, mix marzipan and food coloring of your choice with fingers.
Step 2
Form small cigars of Marzipan (1/2 oz)
Step 3
Split date and stuff with almond paste
Step 4
Place ½ a walnut into marzipan
Step 5
Roll each date in sugar (optional)
Step 6
Place dates in a box and present them!
