- sausage
- flour
- grease
- Bourbon Smoked Salt
- Bourbon Smoked Pepper
- A little bit of Bourbon Barrel Foods' Worcestershire
- Optional: eggs, sausage, and/or bacon
Preparation
Step 1
For sausage gravy, mix together equal parts grease and flour in a large pan until the flour is browned. Add milk until the gravy is very thin and pale. Mix rapidly. With a large spatula or spoon, smash out clumps until the gravy is smooth. The gravy should start to thicken. Add a little more milk and sausage pieces. Mix in Bourbon Smoked Salt, Bourbon Smoked Pepper, and a little bit of Bourbon Barrel Foods' Worcestershire. Simmer on med-low until gravy is thickened. Serve over biscuits! Enjoy!
