- 2 Tablespoons butter or Crisco
- 2 eggs
- Farina
- salt and pepper

Step 1
Mix the soft butter, salt and the 2 eggs well.
Step 2
Add farina 1/4 cup at a time till you have a dumpling dough consistency.
Step 3
If needed, add a little soup for moisture.
Step 4
When the soup boils, cut the dumplings into the soup with a tablespoon.
*Scoop some dough onto the side of a tablespoon, use another tablespoon the slide the dough off into the soup.
Step 5
When they come to the top, cook about 5 minutes more.
