Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 2 cans refrigerated Grands Biscuits Butter flavor (10 count)
  • 2 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar (sifted)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons orange zest

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar, pecans, and zest; set aside.

Step 3

Cut chucks of cream cheese approximately 1 teaspoon each. in equal pieces, Separate the biscuits.

Step 4

Place about 1 teaspoon cream cheese in the center of each biscuit (I like to stretch out the biscuits little). Then fold the biscuit all around the cream cheese, pressing the edges to seal.

Step 5

Dip each biscuits in melted butter, then put it in the sugar mixture. Place the biscuits, in a lightly greased 12-cup bundt pan, spacing them evenly. Place any remaining biscuits around the tube, filling any gaps. Drizzle any remaining butter over the biscuits, and sprinkle with any remaining sugar mixture.

Step 6

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until golden brown. Immediately invert the cake onto a serving platter.

Step 7

Combine the confectioners' sugar and orange juice, stirring well; drizzle the glaze over the warm cake. Serve warm.
