Ingredients
- 4 TBSP Butter
- 4 TBSP Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (I always end up adding more)
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup Sherry or white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a medium sauce pan.
Step 2
Add flour to pan, whisking constantly. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly browned.
Step 3
Add milk. Whisk to incorporate.
Step 4
Add cheese, garlic, sherry/white wine, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese has melted and sauce is smooth.
