Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 C. flour
  • 3/4 C. Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 C. shortening
  • 3/4 granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 C, Chocolate chips or Peanut butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

In a large bowl cream together shortening and sugars. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients . Add chocolate chips or peanut butter. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Make as big or small as you want.

By adding the peanut butter it makes peanut butter cookies, by adding the chocolate chips it makes chocolate chip cookies.
