Ingredients

  • 3 cups young rubarb - diced small
  • 1 pkg strawberry jello
  • 1 cup Butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/0tsp salt
  • topping
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Cut rubarb into small pieces, mix with jello and set aside. Make cake batter of next 8 ingredients, Beat butter, sugar until light and fluffy, beat eggs in stir in sour cream and other ingredients. Spread 1/2 the batter in greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Put rubarb mixture with the rest of the batter. sprinkle with the toppings mixture. Bake at 350 Degree for about 45 min. Check with fork or knife to see if it is done.
