Low-Carb Cheesy Bacon & Broccoli Quiche

Ingredients

  • 12 Eggs, Large
  • 10 pan fried slices Uncured Bacon
  • 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 340 g Broccoli
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 oz Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Sweet Basil Leaf
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2

Fry bacon in the tsp of extra virgin olive oil and set aside on a paper towel.

Step 3

Cook the broccoli in the bacon grease, then spread the broccoli in the baking pan .

Step 4

Whisk eggs, spices and cream together and pour over vegetables. Next, crumble bacon over mixture, and evenly distribute cheese on top.

Step 5

Bake at 375 for 40 minutes (30 for smaller pan – I used an 11×17).
Slice it up and enjoy for a quick breakfast or lunch.
