  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 6 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 loaf of bread
  • Confectioners sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine brown sugar, butter & cinnamon; Spread evenly in a greased 15X10X1" baking pan. Set aside.

Step 2

Combine eggs & milk in a shallow dish.

Step 3

Place bread in dish and soak for 5 minutes, turning once.

Step 4

Place bread over sugar mixture.

Step 5

Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6

Serve brown sugar side up; dust with confectioners sugar.
