Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- ¾ icing sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 pinches of baking soda
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Put all ingredients into a large bowl and knead until well mixed. The more you knead the better the shortbread.
Step 2
Roll out and cut into shapes.
Step 3
Prick with a fork and bake for 15-20 minutes or until starting to turn golden.
