Seasoned Baked Beets

This recipe will leave your taste buds satisfied and your belly full. A solid taste of sweetness, yet just enough earthly spice to compliment a great steak!
Ingredients
- 6 large beets, remove stems, peel outer skin off, cut each beet into 4 pieces
- 3/4 cup lemon juice
- parsley
- chives
- pepper

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325*. In olive oil spray baking dish, place your beets on bottom side by side.
Step 2
Lightly pour a little lemon juice over each, pour remaining juice on bottom of pan. Now sprinkle each beet with a bit of parsley, then chives. Now pepper lightly.
Step 3
Bake for 1 hour. You won't be able to stop eating these!!
Wear rubber gloves when you peel beets. Do not over bake!!
