Ingredients
- 1 pkg (8g, 15ml) active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 cups flour
- Glaze:
- 1 egg, beaten
- coarse salt

Preparation
Step 1
Measure warm water into large mixing bowl. Sprinkle yeast on water and stir until dissolved.
Step 2
Add salt, sugar and flour.
Step 3
Mix and knead dough.
Step 4
Take a small ball of dough and twist into pretzel shapes.
Step 5
Lay pretzels on a cookie sheet, 2 cm apart.
Step 6
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt
Step 7
Bake at 425*F for 12-15 minutes
