Preparation
Step 1
Place can of coconut milk in the fridge overnight or for at least 6 hours to separate coconut cream from water.
Step 2
Carefully remove can from fridge and open without shaking so as not to shake the cream. Spoon out as much of the cream as possible without the water and place into bowl of a stand mixer.
Step 3
Add orange zest and sugar to the stand mixer bowl.
Step 4
Whip mixture on medium-high speed for 5-10 minutes until thick.
Step 5
Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for an ice cream like dessert!
Make sure to use full fat and not low fat coconut milk, as it won't yield as much cream.
