Ingredients

  • Undercut 2 pieces of 8 ounces each
  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
  • Hp sauce 1 tbsp
  • Salt and black pepper ¼ tsp each
  • Rosemary leaves ½ tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Onion rings of 1 large onion
  • Fries and boiled vegetables for serving
  • Ingredients for French onion sauce
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Onion coarsely chopped 1
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • Wooster sauce 1 tsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tsp
  • Hp sauce 2 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper ½ tsp each
  • Stock 1 cup
  • Crushed black pepper ½ tsp
  • Fresh cream 2 tbsp
  • Flour 1 tbsp

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 1 tbsp oil and butter fry chopped onion till brown add in all the rest, cook till sauce thick, Method for steak
Marinate undercut with all the ingredients, grill in 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp oil for 10 minutes till well done, remove and keep aside.

Step 2

To serve
Heat 2 tbsp oil fry onion rings for 3 to 4 minutes till soft add in tbsp of soya sauce, pinch of salt, 1 tsp brown sugar, cook till done, remove onion on a sizzler, spread with steak, pour sauce on top, serve with fries and boiled vegetables.
