Ingredients
- 1 block tofu, sliced into 4 slabs
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- Smoked gouda, shredded
- Breadcrumbs
- Soymilk with 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- Mushrooms gravy, to serve
Preparation
Step 1
Combine spices. Toss tofu in spices.
Step 2
Mix leftover spices in breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Put cheese between 2 slices of tofu. Dip into lemon soymilk. Toss in breadcrumbs. Repeat.
Step 4
Bake tofu for 30 minutes at 350*F or pan fry until crispy.
Step 5
Top with mushroom gravy.
