  • 3/4 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2c minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2c beef stock
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp dried rosemary
  • tbsp salt
  • tsp pepper
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 small tub ricotta cheese
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1 lb. mozzarela cheese, shredded
  • 3/4c grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

In a dutch oven, cook the onion, garlic. Add the sausage and ground beef and cook 50%.

Boil a large pot of water and cook lasagna noodles. Drain and coat with extra virgin olive oil. Separately, mix the ricotta cheeese with parsley, salt and pepper and parmesan.
