  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs. honey
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl or large Ziploc bag, combine soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, lime juice, and garlic.

Step 2

If you want to have grilled breasts, place chicken breast halves into the mixture, and turn to coat. Can also cut chicken into chunks, if preferred. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 45 minutes.

If using a bag instead of a bowl, place chicken in the bag with the marinade and shake. Then let all air out of the bag and place in refrigerator for at least 45 minutes.

Step 3

Grill on medium high heat for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, until juices run clear. Serve with fresh salad, steamed veggies, baked potato or any of your favorite sides.

For a slightly zestier version, add a teaspoon of freshly chopped cilantro to the marinade.
