Ingredients
- 1 Pkg Plain Cheerios
- 1 Pkg Rice Chex
- 3/4 Pkg Shreddies (or more if you like)
- 2 Pkgs Pretzel Twists or Sticks
- 2 cans or Pkgs peanuts
- 1 can mixed nuts (optional)
- 3/4 lb butter, cut up
- 1 Tbsp Smoke Flavour Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1/8 Tsp Cayenne
- 1 Tbsp Seasoned Salt
- 1 Tsp Crushed Marjoram
- 1 Tsp Crushed Summer Savory
Preparation
Step 1
Place cereals and pretzels in large roaster. Sprinkle with spices, butter chunks and nuts. Toast slowly at 250 degrees F for 45 minutes. Stir often to coat everything evenly. Cool and store in airtight containers.
Adjust everything according to preference and availability. I reduce the butter considerably and just stir it more often to ensure the flavourings are evenly distributed. Popcorn is a good addition as well but gets stale faster than the cereals etc.
