Ingredients

  • 1 Pkg Plain Cheerios
  • 1 Pkg Rice Chex
  • 3/4 Pkg Shreddies (or more if you like)
  • 2 Pkgs Pretzel Twists or Sticks
  • 2 cans or Pkgs peanuts
  • 1 can mixed nuts (optional)
  • 3/4 lb butter, cut up
  • 1 Tbsp Smoke Flavour Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/8 Tsp Cayenne
  • 1 Tbsp Seasoned Salt
  • 1 Tsp Crushed Marjoram
  • 1 Tsp Crushed Summer Savory

Preparation

Step 1

Place cereals and pretzels in large roaster. Sprinkle with spices, butter chunks and nuts. Toast slowly at 250 degrees F for 45 minutes. Stir often to coat everything evenly. Cool and store in airtight containers.

Adjust everything according to preference and availability. I reduce the butter considerably and just stir it more often to ensure the flavourings are evenly distributed. Popcorn is a good addition as well but gets stale faster than the cereals etc.
