Avocado Hummus

Hummus and avocado meet to form this healthy and delicious treat. Goes great with pretzel chips, toasted pita, or anything else you can dream up!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 avocado, cubed
  • juice from 1/2 of a lime
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon of olive oil (a lower fat option: substitute oil for juice from the beans)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Add white beans and avocado to a blender or food processor and pulse until mixed. Add lime juice, 1 Tbsp olive oil and salt and pulse again until creamy.

Add remaining ingredients and pulse again until completely incorporated.

Step 2

Serve with pretzel chips (my favorite!) or any other dippable snack!
