Asian Cabbage Salad

Ingredients
- 2 pk ramen noodles crushed
- 1 C slivered almonds
- 2 t sesame seeds
- 1/2 C butter
- 1 head cabbage shredded
- 1 bunch green onions chopped
- 3/4 C oil
- 1/4 C vinegar
- 1/2 C sugar
- 2 T soy sauce
- cooked chopped chicken

Preparation
Step 1
In skillet over low heat brown ramen, almonds and sesame seeds with butter.
Step 2
In small saucepan bring oil, sugar, and vinegar to boil for 1 minute. Cool and add soy sauce.
Step 3
In large bowl combine cabbage, chopped chicken and green onion. Add the noodle and dressing mixtures. Toss to coat.
You can add purple cabbage, cilantro, and shredded carrots. Also, rice vinegar and sesame oil can be used instead for part or all of the oil and vinegar.
