  • 3 1/4 C. crushed raspberries
  • 1/4 C. lemon juice
  • 4 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1 C. light corn syrup
  • 1 box fruit pectin

Preparation

Step 1

Wash and prepare glass or plastic containers to store jam in. you can buy these or just use old sour cream containers.

Step 2

Crush berries using a potatoe masher or food processor, depending on the consistency of the fruit that you want. Set aside in a large bowl.

Step 3

Measure sugar into a bowl and set aside

Step 4

Add the lemon joice to the berries.

Step 5

Gradually stir in the box of pectin. Set aside for 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to dissolve the pectin thoroughly.

Step 6

Stir in the corn syrup. This prevents sugar crystals during freezer storage.

Step 7

Gradually stir in the sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy.
