Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1.5 tsp grated fresh gingerroot
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, and cider vinegar. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently until sugar is dissolved; boil 5 minutes.

Step 2

Stir in cranberries, raisins, gingerroot, mustard seeds and crushed red pepper. Return to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Cranberries will pop.

Step 3

Allow to cool.

May be stored in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Makes 3 cups
