Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 Cups Self Rising Flour
  • 1 1/3 Cups Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Shortening
  • 1 Cup of Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs unbeaten

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour and sugar

Step 2

Stir in shortening, dry ingredients, 3/4 cup of milk, and vanilla. Mix.

Step 3

Add in eggs and rest of milk. Mix.

Step 4

Bake at 375 for about 25 minutes, then cool.
