Ingredients

  • 3 green peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup instant rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

Mix everything but the green peppers in a bowl.

Step 2

Cut green peppers in half and remove seeds. Stuff pepper halves with meat. It's okay to stuff over the edge.

Step 3

Microwave on high 15 minutes.

When I make this I usually substitute spaghetti sauce for the tomato sauce. I also tend to throw whatever vegetables I have into it and use it as meatloaf instead.
