Ingredients
- 1 lb lean beef cut into 1/2 " cubes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 ribs of celery, chopped
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 1 cup barley
- 1 bay leaf
- 6 cups of beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Combine beef, onion, celery, carrots, barley, bay leaf, and beef broth.
Step 2
Cook beef and barley soup on low in crockpot for 6-8 hour
Step 3
Add salt and pepper to taste
