Hearty Polish Sausage Dinner

Fresh baked polish sausage with potatoes and onions and peppers.

Ingredients

  • 1pkg. Fresh sausage links, 10 med. Potatoes, 2 med.cooking onions, 2 green peppers, olive oil, salt and pepper, garlic powder, paprika.

Preparation

Step 1

pre-heat oven to 450 degrees . Chop potatoes into med -small squares.(no need to peel) place chopped potatoes into large baking pan.

Step 2

Chop onions and peppers into med squares also and add to baking pan.

Step 3

Sprinkle olive oil all over mix enough to lightly coat the bottom of the pan . then use hands to make sure oil gets all over potato mix.

Step 4

Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder then use hands again to mix.

Step 5

Add a light layer of paprika to top of potato mix and use hands to mix well.

Step 6

Cover pan and cook potato mix for about an hour. Use tin foil if there is no lid.

Step 7

Uncover and stir potato mix. Then add whole sausage links. Lay links right on top of potatoes.

Step 8

Cook about another hour or untill potatoes are soft. Cook sausage thoroughly. Roughly about 30-45min for sausage.

Step 9

Place potato mix onto plate and sausage on the side and serve.

The smaller you dice the potatoes the faster the mix will cook.
