Ingredients
- 34 caramel candies
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cold water
- 1 envelope plain gelatin
- 1 tub whipped topping
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 baked 9" pie crust
Preparation
Step 1
In double boiler, mix caramels, hot water, and salt.
Step 2
After caramels have melted add cold water and gelatin. Mix well.
Step 3
Let mixture cool for 10 minutes. Mix in whipped topping and pecans.
Step 4
Pour into pie shell and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
