Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 tablespoons salted butter at room temperature
- 2 large eggs
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1 cup crushed walnuts
- 1 tablespoon of milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
Step 2
Butter and flour a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan (or muffin pan which will cook for less time)
Step 3
Cream the sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step 4
In seperate bowl, mash bananas with a fork. Mix in the milk and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt.
Step 5
Add banana mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined. Stir in walnuts. Add dry ingredients, mixing just until flour disappears.
Step 6
Pour batter into pan and bake 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes OR until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Step 7
Enjoy with butter, honey, or plain!
