Ingredients
- 1lb gound beef
- 1tsp minced garlic
- 16oz can tomato sauce
- 6oz can tomato paste
- 1cup water
- 4oz can sliced mushrooms
- 1tsp salt
- 1tsp dried oregano
- 8oz pkg lasagna uncooked
- 2cups shredded mozzerella cheese
- 12oz container cottage cheese
- 1/2cup parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef with garlic; drain and spoon into a large bowl.
Step 2
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, mushrooms, salt, and oregano, mixing well.
Step 3
Spread one-quarter of the meat sauce in the bottom of a crock pot; arrange one-third of the uncooked lasagna over the sauce, breaking if necessary.
Step 4
Combine cheeses; spoon one-third over lasagna layer. Repeat layers twice; top with remaining meat sauce.
Step 5
Cover and cook on low setting until lasagna is tender, 4-5 hours.
