  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2-2 1/2 lbs beef round steak, cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 package fresh mushrooms
  • 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oil for browning
  • 2 bell peppers sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Coat beef in flour mixture. Heat oil in pan over high heat. Cook beef until browned.

Step 2

Add onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Cook till onions are clear.

Step 3

Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer 75-90 minutes. Serve with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
