This is a recipe from my dad's cousin, Robbie. He was a certified bad ass, with no legs, who ran miles a day.

Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 chicken breasts
  • half cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • half cup brown sugar
  • 1 four ounce can of diced chiles
  • half can of Sprite soda

Preparation

Step 1

Put all of the ingredients in a crock pot, cook on low for 5 or 6 hours.

Step 2

Remove chicken, shred. Return to crock pot and cook for another hour.

Step 3

Thicken the juices with cornstarch mixed with water. Serve with flour tortillas, lettuce, cheese, black beans, and hot sauce.
