Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg at room temp
  • 3 quarter cup water
  • 3 quarter cup Reggiano or Pecorino cheese grated
  • half cup seasoned bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Place beef in mixing bowl and press into bowl.
Put garlic on top of meat and lightly rub around top of meat. salt and pepper, crack eggs on top of mixture.
Pour water over mixture. Sprinkle cheese over the water then cover with bread crumbs. Mix from the outside in folding the mixture.

Step 2

Roll into your preferred size meatball and place on a cookie sheet lined with foil. Bake 20 minutes, when done baking simmer in sauce for 30 minutes.
