Ingredients
- 8 Sugar Cubes
- 2 Lemons
- ½ bottle medium sweet sherry
- ¼ bottle brandy
- 1 bottle dry sparking white wine
Preparation
Step 1
Rub the sugar cubes over the lemons to absorb zest. Peel the lemons thinly and remove as much of the pith as possible.
Step 2
Slice the lemons thinly and put aside. Put the lemon peel, sherry and brandy and sugar cubes in a pitcher and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 3
Chill for about 30 minutes.
Step 4
Pour in the wine just before serving and float the lemon slices on top.
