Ingredients
- 4 pounds of apples
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
Preparation
Step 1
Wash, core, peel, and quarter apples. Combine with 2 cups water in large sauce pot. Simmer till soft.
Step 2
Puree apples. measure 2 quarts.
Step 3
Combine apples, sugar, and spice. Cook slowly until thick.
Step 4
Laddle into jars leaving 1/4 inch free. Process 10 minutes.
