- 4 cups bread flour
- 2 tsp yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup warm water

Preparation
Step 1
Set aside 1/4 cup of flour and add the remaining 3 3/4 cups to mixing bowl.
Step 2
Add yeast and salt to opposite sides of the bowl.
Step 3
Pour in warm water and mix with the paddle attachment at slow speed until dough starts to come together.
Step 4
Switch to dough hook and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. (You can add water or flour if dough is too dry/sticky)
Step 5
Let dough rest for 5 min.
Step 6
Mix again on medium speed for 3 min.
Step 7
Remove dough from mixer and using the reserved 1/4 up flour knead by hand until dough makes a nice smooth ball.
Step 8
Place dough in large greased bowl,cover, and put in warm place to rise for 1 1/2 hours.Place your pizza stone in oven and preheat to 450 towards the end of the rising time.
Step 9
After the 1 1/2 hours punch down the dough and shape into the log. Turn bread seam side down, cover with a towel and let rise another 30 min.
Step 10
Once risen cut 3-4 shallow slashes across the top of the loaf. Place bread on the pizza stone,toss 1/2 cup water into the bottom of the oven and let bake for 20 -25 min.
