Ingredients
- 3/4 c cocoa
- 3 c sugar
- 1 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 2 t vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Mix cocoa, sugar, and milk in saucepan. Cook over meduim heat stirring often, until it reaches soft ball stage on candy thermometer. Remove from heat and allow to cool until just hot enough that it will melt the margarine.
Step 2
Add margarine and vanilla. Start beating. This is the hard part. Beat and mix until it starts to solidify. This can take 30 minutes or more.
Step 3
Coat a 9x9 pan with margarine. Put fudge into pan and cool. Cut & enjoy
Allow lots of time when making this.
