- 1 PACKET TERIYAKI MARINADE Like McCormick or Schillings
- 1 TABLESPOON PAPRIKA
- 1 TEASPOON PEPPER
- 3 1/2 POUNDS PORK SHOULDER
- 1/2 CUP CHICKEN BROTH
- 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
- 1/4 CUP SOY SAUCE
- 1 CUP CHILI SAUCE
- 1 6 oz CAN PINEAPPLE JUICE
- 1 MEDIUM ONION CHOPPED
- 2 CARROTS CHOPPED
- 8 HAMBURGER ROLLS
- INGREDIENTS FOR HAWAIIAN SAUCE
- 2 TABLESPOONS CANOLA OIL
- 1 TABLESPOON GINGER CHOPPED or GRATED
- 2 TEASPOONS GARLIC CHOPPED or GRATED

Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl combine the Teriyaki mix and the Paprika and Pepper
Coat the Pork with the rub mixture patting untilall rub is used And set aside
In another bowl whisk together the Chicken Broth Brown Sugar Soy Sauce Chili Sauce
and Pineapple Juice And set aside
Put the Onion and Carrots into a 5 quart crock pot
Place Pork on top of them and then pour 1/2 of the Pineapple Juice mixture over the Pork
Save the rest for the Hawaiian sauce
Step 2
Cover and cook on low for 7 or 8 hours The meat should fall apart easily Remove the meat to a cutting board and with 2 forks pull the meat into shreds Serve on Rolls drizzled with the Hawaiian sauce or dip the sandwich in Hawaiian sauce

DIRECTIONS HAWAIIAN SAUCE
In a medium pot on medium heat
heat up the Canola Oil Add Garlic and Ginger and saute until soft about 2 minutes
Add the remaining Pineapple Juice mixture and bring to a boil
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes
