Sugar cookie icing

Dries hard so its easy to pack, just smooth with the back of a clean spoon and you get a smooth thin finish. Doesn't drip over the side and you can layer after the first coat has dried.

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-4 tsp milk(or water)
  • 2 tsp corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of your favorite extract

Preparation

Step 1

Sift powdered sugar into a small bowl. Add 2 tsp milk and stir until the powdered sugar no longer looks powdery, adding additional 1/2 tsp milk if necessary. Add corn syrup (if using) and extract and stir until smooth, adding more extract to taste and more corn syrup for consistency.
