Easy no carb Quiche Spinach & Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of Bacon
  • 1/2 Cup green onion, chopped
  • 6 1/2 Ounces frozen chopped spinach
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 Cup heavy cream
  • 3 Cup cheese, shredded Swiss, cheddar whatever you want or mix
  • 1/4 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9 inch pie pan.
Fry Bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain & cut with scissors into small pieces.set aside. Add onions to pan with a bit of spray and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft. Stir in spinach and continue cooking until excess moisture has evaporated.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, cream, cheese, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Add spinach mixture and stir to blend.

Step 2

after i spray my pie pan i pack 2 cups of Swiss or whatever cheese your using into the bottom of the pan and up the side this acts as the crust

Step 3

Pour into prepared pie pan over the cheese.
Bake in preheated oven until eggs have set, about 30 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

This quiche tastes so good & you can make it so many different ways its UN believable directions just switch spinach for bacon or peppers or mushrooms. What ever you want in it
