Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of butter
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 1 tsp of almond extract
- 5 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1.5 cups of flour
- 2 tsp of cold water
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 1/2 of icing sugar
- Granulated sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 275°
Step 2
Measure flour (not sifted), cream butter, add brown sugar and water
Step 3
Beat until mixture is smooth
Step 4
Incorporate flour gradually with chopped pecans
Step 5
Let stand for one hour
Step 6
Shape dough into balls
Step 7
Bake on ungreased sheet for 40 minutes
Step 8
Roll in sugar bag
