- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- red food coloring

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter,add in icing sugar,egg and extracts.
Step 2
Mix in flour and salt.
Step 3
Split dough in 2 and add food coloring to one half.
Step 4
Roll each color into ropes and twist together to form candy cane.
Step 5
Bake at 350 for 9 min. Bottom of cookies should be light brown.
