Playdough

By

If you have young children you need this recipe. It is not for eating, it is for playing with your hands. This dough is much softer than commercial playdough and lasts longer. It works best if you put the food coloring in the water before you start to cook it.

Preparation

Step 1

Cook all ingredients on the top of the stove in a sauce pan. Cook until very thick like bread dough. Knead until the right consistency. Let your kids play with it when it is warm. It can be stored in an air tight container for several months.

If you want several colors, cook the playdough without food coloring and then divide up the batch. Then mix in the food coloring in smaller batches.
