Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semi- Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Corn Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Rum (or Bourbon/Liqueur)
  • 2-1/2 cups Crushed Vanilla Wafers
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts (optional)
  • 1/3 cup Confectioner's Sugar
  • Sprinkles
  • You will need: Double broiler - a pot with 3" of water in it, with another smaller pot or heat-safe bowl that fits completely on top of it. The steam will melt the chocolate without the threat of burning the chocolate.
