  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • milk

Preparation

Step 1

Over medium heat, bring strawberries, sugar, and water to a boil.

Step 2

Boil for 10-15 minutes, or until the mixture has reduced slightly and the strawberries become mushy.

Step 3

Once the liquid has reduced, strain through a mesh strainer into a glass bowl to allow to cool.

Step 4

Add desired amount to cold milk once cooled and enjoy!

Can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
