Ingredients
- 1 &1/2 cup Wheat Flour
- 1 cup chopped Fenugreek Leaves (Methi Leaves)
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1/2 tsp Coriander & Cumin seed powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 3 tsp Sugar
- 1 &1/2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Ginger Chilli Paste
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
- Salt
- 1 & 1/2 tbsp Curd (Yogurt)
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, take the wheat flour, coriander cumin seed powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt, sugar, ginger chilli paste, lemon juice, oil, fenugreek leaves, curd and mix everything well.
Step 2
Add water occasionally and make a soft dough.
Take a portion of the dough, make a small ball and coat it with some dry wheat flour.
Sprinkle some wheat flour on the rolling board and start rolling with the help of a rolling pin.
Step 3
Place the roti on a hot pan to roast it in medium flame for about 40 seconds on both the sides.
When the roti is half cooked, flip it and brush some oil on either side of the roti and cook it till its properly roasted and fried.
