  • 1½ cups quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup butter chilled cut up
  • APPLES
  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • FILLING
  • 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

In large bowl, stir together oatmeal, 1 1/3 cups flour, brown sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press half the mixture into bottom of 13x9-inch glass baking dish; reserve remaining mixture for topping.

Step 3

In large bowl, toss together all apple ingredients until apples are coated. Spread over crust.

Step 4

In large bowl, beat cream cheese and ½ cup sugar at medium speed until smooth. Add eggs, 2 tablespoons flour and milk; beat until combined. Spread over apple mixture; sprinkle with reserved oatmeal mixture.

Step 5

Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and apples are tender. Cool on wire rack.
