Ingredients
- • 1 medium tart apple, chopped
- • 1/2 cup chopped onion
- • 1/4 cup chopped celery
- • 1 tablespoon butter
- • 1 package (6 ounces) stuffing mix
Preparation
Step 1
• In a large skillet, saute the apple, onion and celery in butter until tender.
Step 2
Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions. Stir in apple mixture.
Step 3
Proceed with your meat recipe as instructed or put into a greased/ buttered dish and bake until the top is golden and has a crisp crust.
You can also add coked sage type sausage and add to the stuffing mixture.
